KEEPING PEOPLE SAFE

If it isn't safe, it isn't Church

The Church in Wales  wants to provide a safe, happy and supportive environment of mission and ministry in which all God’s people
can grow and develop in their Christian commitment.

As a result we take Safeguarding very seriously, and have a designated Safeguarding officer to ensure that church is safe for all.

Each of our locations has a Safeguarding Champion who may be your first point of contact, however, our Safeguarding officer is always available to help. Below are our policies and procedures which we adhere to to ensure everyone's safety.

If you have information about a safeguarding situation where a child or adult is in immediate danger or requires urgent medical attention, please call the emergency services now on 999 – DO NOT DELAY.

If you think that a child or adult is at risk of harm but is not in immediate danger, please call the local authority social services department.
