ST CATHERINE'S CHURCH

IS HERE TO BE

AN

EXLPOSION OF JOY
We do this by having a joy-filled expression of faith. If the Kingdom of God is a banquet party,
then we want people to see the good news in our community life, both inside and outside of the building.

BY MAKING

JESUS KNOWN

Everything we do has a clear communication of who Jesus is.
Jesus isn't an afterthought, but the very reason that we do everything that we do!

IN OUR

LOCAL COMMUNITY

Ponty is our bit of God's creation to love the hell out of.

TO SEE

LIVES TRANSFORMED

The whole purpose is to see lives transformed and living life to the full.
We do this through all our work and partnerships, bringing about active change in people's lives.

Worship with Us
Picture
Sunday @ 09:00
Quiet traditional eucharist
Start Sunday morning with a quiet service of communion. This service uses traditional Anglican liturgy, which helps us to gently worship God, pray and be blessed. this lovely service is ideal for those who are looking for a space to 'be' while the Spirit restores your soul.

Contemporary Worship
Joy, joy, joy is the only way we can describe this service. We have a more relaxed, easy going feel to this service, that caters to the whole family. The youngsters spend time in age appropriate groups, whiles the grownups enjoy worship with a band and a biblically based sermon.

Eucharist
Our traditional mid-week service is a time to know God and each other.
This friendly, mature congregation is always ready to have a cuppa and a chat and welcome one more person to the clan.
Why don't you come and join us...?

The Tower

When you think of Ponty, you think of St Cath's spire! Our tower is iconic and an important part of Ponty's heritage - but it is more than just a landmark.
We have a dedicated team of bell ringers who love to fill the air with the sweet sound of music.
Have you ever wanted to try bellringing? Come and meet the team, we'd be happy to show you the ropes.
