There are cemeteries attached to three of our churches within the Pontypridd Ministry Area.
St Gwynno's Church, Llanwynno, is an ancient burial site and the oldest grave dates back to 1606. It is also the resting place of the Welsh legend Guto Nyth Bran.
St Mary's Church, Glyntaff, is a site of also a site of local historical significance. Industrial giants such as George William Lenox, engineer John Calvert, musical pioneer Ieuan Ddu, as well as being the final resting place of the boys and men killed in the disaster at the Great Western Colliery in 1893.
St David's Church, Hopkinstown, is now closed for worship but is the final resting place for many local family members.
